Self checks in on Greene

With the recruiting process potentially winding down for one of the most highly coveted wings in the Class of 2013, coaches from programs still in the mix for Brannen Greene are making their way to Forsyth (GA) Mary Persons High School. Tuesday night, Kansas head coach Bill Self made the trip to the Peach State.

And he wasn't the only one.

Billy Donovan and Rick Pitino were slated to be on hand in Forsyth on Tuesday night as well, in addition to Bill Self, as Mary Persons took on Macon (GA) Howard High School.

The Jayhawks have long been on the trail of the 6-foot-5, 185-pound junior sharpshooter, who visited the Lawrence, Kan. campus in October for the season-opening festivities of "Late Night in the Phog."

It is expected he will make his college decision by the first of the year. He currently holds offers from programs such as UCONN, Florida, Florida State, Kansas, Louisville, Memphis, Ohio State and Providence.

A member of the Kansas staff also traveled to Seattle, to check out Class of 2012 commitment Anrio Adams and his Seattle-Rainier Beach teammates take out Seattle-O'Dea, 67-62. Adams scored a game-high 25 points in the victory, including 19 in the first half. Top Stories
