Monday quickies is here with a couple of quick hitters from the hoops world for Monday, including the latest on Conner Frankamp - who followed up a brilliant performance at Pangos with a strong weekend at the Atlanta edition of Under Armour Grind Session tour - and 2012 guard Anrio Adams, who is set to graduate this week.

Frankamp continuing to raise stock

After an outstanding performance at the Pangos All-American Camp that opened the eyes of many a recruiting analyst a week ago, Wichita (KS) North point guard Conner Frankamp took to Atlanta this weekend for the next in a series of Under Armour Grind Session events - and didn't let his foot off the gas.

Reports from the event indicate the Kansas commit was his usual hot-shooting self, and continued to run the point with athleticism and savvy.

Next up, Frankamp will return this weekend to Colorado Springs for another round of tryouts with Team USA. Last year as a member of the U-16 national team, he helped Team USA record a perfect 5-0 record and a gold medal at the 2011 FIBA Americas U16 Championships. He averaged 8.6 points and 3.6 assists per game.

Adams set to graduate

Monday afternoon, checked in with Seattle Rainier Beach guard Anrio Adams, who will graduate from high school this week.

Last month, Adams received word he had scored an 18 on his ACT, which put him one step closer to making his verbal commitment to Kansas official. Based on the sliding scale set by the NCAA, it would appear the score means he'll need a GPA of 2.4 in order to qualify.

Adams indicated everything was still looking good. Check back with later this week for further updates on the athletic 6-foot-3 guard. Top Stories
