Bloomfield favors four

After a dominant showing during the Memphis NFTC event in early June, Louisville (KY) Ballard offensive tackle Joey Bloomfield's name has become much hotter in the Class of 2013.

Recently, a local television station conducted an interview with the 6-foot-6, 305-pound offensive tackle - who currently holds eight scholarship offers - during which he outlined the four schools which currently sit atop his list.

"The top of of my list is Houston, Colorado, Kansas and San Diego State," Joey Bloomfield said. "That's kind of who is leading for me right now."

Brian Eldridge, Kentucky recruiting analyst, had this to say about Bloomfield's performance at the Memphis Nike Football Training Camp:

"Bloomfield didn't fail to impress. He was able to impress the scouts on hand. Bloomfield showed his strength and aggressiveness against the higher-rated prospects - never backing down and proving his point, that he is a legitimate player."

Bloomfield is currently rated a 3-star prospect and the No. 48 offensive tackle in the country. Top Stories
