Commitment imminent for Walker

2013 star Chris Walker announced Saturday night he would be putting an end to his commitment soon - as in, less than 12 hours "soon."

Per Chris Walker as of Saturday night, his final list of schools includes Florida, Kansas, Kentucky and Louisville. He currently holds scholarship offers from each of his finalists with the exception of Kentucky.

A 5-star prospect, the 6-foot-10, 215-pound Walker is currently rated the No. 3 power forward in the country by Scout.com.

Much of the scuttle surrounding the Florida native has been that he would be difficult to pry away from the home-state Gators, as long as an offer from the Wildcats remained off the table. However, Head Coach Bill Self and the Jayhawks have put in the legwork with Walker, tracking him closely during the current July evaluation period.
