Junior college offensive tackle Haniteli Lousi is starting to gain steam on the recruiting trail. He's raked in seven offers now, including Kansas.
Lousi has set an official visit to Kansas.
"I plan on visiting Kansas on the weekend of Thanksgiving," said Lousi. "I already have an offer from them and I stay in contact with them and want to see what it is like there. It is the only visit I have scheduled as of now."
The College of San Mateo prospect has respected the way the Jayhawks have approached him throughout his process.
"My interest in Kansas is pretty high," he admitted. "They have showed interest in me from the start and always stay in contact with me. They have recruited me so well so I really like them."
"I like how they give me space in matters of making a decision," he continued. "They don't pressure me into committing to their school, and at the same time, they do a good job of checking up on me."
Despite his high interest in Kansas, Lousi is still considering all of his choices.
"I'm still keeping my options open with the seven schools that have offered me," he stated. "I don't want to close any doors with any school because you never what can happen."
