Kenyon Tabor chose the Jayhawks over an offer from Kansas State and tossed aside a bunch of late interest from schools like Iowa and Florida.
Tabor: "Kansas is just so different than all the other places I visited. I saw the new dorms that are going to be built. The basketball ones are already up, and the football ones are coming soon. I have interest in a business degree, and I got to see the business facility — it’s top of the line."
Tabor combines size, speed, skill and solid route-running skills. He can jump over top of you to win jump balls, and outrun you to break open on go routes. This is a tremendous pickup for the Jayhawks, who are adding several solid wideout options.
