Earl Bostic Jr. is an offensive line commit that picked the Jayhawks over offers from Appalachian State and Georgia Southern. He was getting late attention from Mississippi State and Georgia Tech. He flipped from an earlier commitment to Appalachian State.
Bostic physically abused his undersized opponents at the high school level, and relished delivering knockout hits on both sides of the ball. On the offensive line, he drives his defenders to the ground and opens gaping running lanes. Defensively, he delivers jarring blows. He'll still need to get bigger and stronger to compete in the Big 12, however, so don't be surprised to see him take advantage of a redshirt season with the Jayhawks.
