"We have made enormous strides in several areas over the last several months," Perkins said. "We are nearly ready to implement the 'points' system, and the generosity of several special families will permit us to begin much-needed renovation and construction. These staff changes allow us to put vital personnel into positions where they can best serve our alumni, benefactors and season-ticket holders.
"Jay gained valuable experience during his time with the Kansas City Royals in the area of facility management," Perkins continued.
"We will use that experience as we begin the renovation of Allen Fieldhouse and the construction of a Hall of Athletics. Rodney has built outstanding relationships with many of our key donors; that, combined with his knowledge of the ticket operation, will assist us immeasurably as we implement the new 'points' system over the next several months. And Charlette has an outstanding reputation as one of the most knowledgeable ticket-operations professionals in college athletics."
