And David makes four....

Four players are now confirmed to be transferring out of the Kansas basketball program, three men and one woman.

Last week Bill Self confirmed Omar Wilkes and Moulaye Niang would be leaving Kansas. Today the athletic department announced David Padgett and Tamara Ransburg would also be seeking transfers.

"Obviously we're all disappointed with David's decision," Self said. "Even though we don't agree with it, we're certainly respectful of it. We do wish him well with his future opportunities. We wish David and his family the best, and we certainly appreciate the one year of effort he gave us here at Kansas."

"I've made the decision to transfer from KU at the end of this semester," Padgett said. "I think I'll have more opportunities to be a face-up player and play the four-position at another school. I want to wish my ex-teammates and the great KU fans all the best, and I hope they have a great season next year."

"Tamara informed me of her decision to transfer to Old Dominion and we will do anything we can to give her the support she needs," said new coach Bonnie Henrickson said. "Everyone at Kansas wants what is best for Tamara and we certainly wish her the best of luck." Top Stories
