Jayhawks 3-0 in Canada

Before a rowdy crowd, Keith Langford and J.R. Giddens combine for 44-points to lead Kansas to a 106-71 victory over the University College Fraser Valley All Stars.

Sophomore guard J.R. Giddens lead all scorers with 23-points (3-7 from 3-pt range), and senior Keith Langford contributed 21 points (9-16 from the field) in the win.

Senior Wayne Simien also added 15 points and 9 boards.

Giddens' scoring included a red-hot first half in which he hit two three-point field goals and tallied 16 points. Giddens was also named the visiting outstanding player by the UCFV athletic staff.

Head coach Bill Self said on tonight's game, "I thought everybody did well. J.R. was great. Keith was great. They kind of keyed it for us tonight. That's the good thing about this team. It could be a different guy every night."

Kansas moves to 3-0 in exhibition play, their final game coming Monday afternoon vs. the Burnaby Mountain All-Starts at 1 p.m. Central.
