Two of three expectations were met last weekend for Dustin Forston.
The 5-11, 215 pound linebacker from Miami Northwestern High School found out quickly that Kansas was every bit as cold as he expected, but the landscape of Lawrence turned out to be not near as flat as he'd heard.  More importantly though, a close-up view of the Kansas football program revealed it to be everything he'd hoped for and more and thus, Forston picked Kansas over the weekend.
The attached audio file features Forston's radio interview on "Rock Chalk Sports Talk", a daily sports radio show on KLWN in Lawrence that is streamed online on  Within the interview, Forston shares his opinions of the KU coaching staff, how "at-home" he felt in Lawrence and his excitement to play with and learn from a linebacker as talented as Nick Reid
