King on the Hill

LeRon King did not commit to Kansas over the weekend, but that doesn't mean the Miami linebacker didn't enjoy his visit to Lawrence.<br>

The 6-1, 205 prospect from Miami Northwestern High played high school football with KU commit Dustin Forston and both have expressed interest in playing together at the next level.  That does not guarantee, however, that Leron King will commit to Kansas.  The talented high school senior wants to take some additional time in weighing his options, but also realizes that in this busy season of football recruiting the early bird many times gets the proverbial worm.
The attached interview is from Monday's episode of "Rock Chalk Sports Talk" which airs weekdays from 3-6 on KLWN in Lawrence and is streamed online on   King talks about his desire to play with Forston, what he liked about Kansas, and the timetable for finalizing his college decision.
