Kansas received it's first verbal commitment for 2006 today when Dwight Lewis gave his verbal commitment to play basketball at Kansas. Lewis, a 6-5 guard, was ranked by Scout.com as the 12th best at his position in it's latest rankings.
Phog.net's Eric Bossi had these comments regarding Lewis:
"Although he's a kid that not many have gotten a chance to see, word from those who saw him last summer is that he's a major talent. I saw him some last summer and thought he was a nice player with a knack for scoring. He's a slender wing who shoots pretty well, is a good athlete who can get to the hoop and has a super mid-range game."
