2007 Top 50, 25 To Watch From 2008

The work has been done for the summer. The jersey's are back in the closet. Phog.net's Eric Bossi runs down his post-summer top 50 in the class of 2007, and provides an early list of potential top performers in the class of 2008.

Earlier this week I presented my personal top 100 from the class of 2006, now it is time to move on to some younger guys. You’ve already heard plenty about a few of these kids from the class of 2007 like O.J. Mayo, Billy Walker and Kevin Love, but there are plenty of other kids that you’ll get to know over the next year and a half.

Of course, these are kids who are just starting their junior year of high school so you can expect there to be plenty of movement between now and this time next year.

As for the class of 2008, it is still very early and odds are some of the kids who will end up near the top of their class haven’t even been scouted yet. With that in mind, it makes more sense to list 25 guys I think are capable of making some noise down the road rather than ranking that class so early.

Just like always, these rankings and lists are done for fun and aren’t meant to slight anybody so please take them for what they are worth.
