Kansas or Purdue?

Tertavian Ingram, a 6-foot, 185-pound, wide receiver, from Jefferson High in Tampa Fla., visited Kansas in January while committed to Purdue. Was Ingram's visit to Lawrence enough for him to switch his commitment from Purdue to Kansas?

"I can't say right now," Tertavian Ingram said. "I liked Kansas a lot. If I had to pick a school right now, it would be Kansas but my mom wants me to think things through. She likes the academics at Purdue.

"Both Purdue and Kansas are still calling me. I'm sitting down with the Kansas coaches tonight. Purdue will be in later this week. Both schools have a lot going for them. Purdue throws the ball more but I feel more comfortable at Kansas.

"Kansas is an up and coming program and my Dad lives there so that's another positive for them. I really can't say which school I'm committed to right now. All I can say is I like Kansas but my mom really wants me to look at my options."

Ingram had 800 receiving yards as a senior and scored eight touchdowns. He was named all-conference. Look for Ingram's recruitment to hit full tilt all the way up until signing day. Both Kansas and Purdue plan on recruiting Tertavian until the very end.

Question is who will come out on top? Purdue has the academics, the offense and mom. Kansas has Ingram's heart, and up and coming program and dad. Should be an interesting next few weeks.
