Manhattan's Hall on Jayhawk Radar

Manhattan, Kan., running back, Brandon Hall, is starting to pick up some interest from college recruiters. Hall rushed for 1,300 yards as a sophomore and put up some strong numbers this past season as well. Manhattan coach, Butch Albright, feels that Hall will play a different position in college.

"I think that Brandon (Hall) will either be a strong safety or linebacker at the next level." Butch Albright said.

"Brandon probably could've been an all-state selection this past year but there were a couple other great running backs in Kansas. I think Brandon will put on some weight and be a tremendous safety or linebacker.

"Overall, Brandon Hall is one of the best football players to ever come through this high school. Brandon is a tremendous runner, slasher and he can catch the football player. He's also the best open field tackler we've had since I've been the head coach at Manhattan.

"As far as the recruiting stuff goes, Kansas State is very interested. I've had conversations with Coach Prince about Brandon. Missouri and Nebraska's interest has also started to pick up considerably. Kansas has requested film also.

"In my opinion, if Brandon has the type of senior season that we feel he's capable of, he'll be alright. He's going to get scholarship offers."

We'll have comments from Brandon Hall in the near future. Top Stories
