Nebraska Lineman Back from Camps

Cozad High School offensive lineman Luke Pinkelman is in search of his first scholarship offer. He has been to camps in Lawrence and Lincoln thus far. A couple of additional camps are scheduled for July as well. He talks about his recent trips and updates his favorites.

"I attended camps at Nebraska and Kansas," said Luke Pinkelman from Cozad, (Neb.). "I am going to camps at Iowa State and Colorado State in July. Those are the last camps I will attend this summer."

"I still have not received any offers. I am receiving a lot of mail but, I am not sure which schools are close to offering me. I would have to say Ohio and Kansas are recruiting me the hardest."

"I thought it went well," Pinkleman said of his trip to Lincoln. "I thought I matched-up well with all the other talented guys there. I thought I was as well prepared as they were."

"The coaches showed us a lot of technique. They showed us what we need to do to become a better offensive lineman."

The trip to Lawrence was another learning experience for the 6-3, 275-pound lineman.

"The Kansas camp was another good camp for me," he said. "We did a lot of techniques and different drills. It was mostly a technique and drill camp. The coaches were really good. They know what they are talking about."

When asked favorites Pinkelman replied, "Right now I would have to say my favorites are Colorado State, Iowa State and Nebraska." Top Stories
