Arkansas Talent Names Four

Chea Peterman, from North Little Rock, (Ark.), has kept a busy summer with several camps showcasing his skills for college coaches. His performance has sparked more interest and coaches are eager to see him in action this fall. Peterman talks camps and names four favorites.

My top schools right now are Kansas, Tulsa, Baylor and TCU," Chea Peterman said. "I went to camp at Tulsa and Baylor, and I go to TCU this weekend."

When we last talked Arkansas and Utah were two teams as favorites, but the lack of interest has changed his mind. New schools are showing interest, and Peterman's attention is focused in their direction.

"Utah stopped calling, and I'm just not really interested in Arkansas," Peterman said.

"Kansas has a really nice campus and good facilities. They have a good program and good coaches."

"I went to the Tulsa camp and got to meet Coach (Spencer) Leftwitch. He is my recruiting coach. We talked for a while, and I had a good time there."

"I also went to Baylor three weeks ago. It's really nice, awesome facilities, the coaches were all really nice. They asked me to send them a game tape after a couple of games this fall."

Peterman is looking forward to his senior season. His high school squad is returning a solid core of talent.

"I feel really good about our upcoming season," he said. "We only lost one receiver, but we did lose three offensive lineman. We run a little bit of everything, split wing, I- formation and spread."
