Texas OL Commits to Jayhawks

Scout.com three-star offensive lineman Jeremiah Hatch, from Dallas-Carter, Texas has given his commitment to Kansas. Hatch talked this afternoon about his college decision.

"I committed to Kansas yesterday," said Jeremiah Hatch from Dallas, Texas. "I called coach [Tim] Beck and told him about my decision. He was very excited. He said I would make a big change for their program."

"I committed to Kansas because it's a college town. The people there are great and their team is on the rise."

Hatch took his official visit before the holidays and knew it was the place for him.

"I took my visit in December," he said. "It was my first visit. The visit went real good. My host was Anthony Collins. He showed me around the town. It was good."

"I thought they had a real nice campus. It wasn't as great as Texas Tech, but it's just right for me."

"Their coaching staff is pretty good. I like them. They seem like they are very honest. They are pretty good people."

Hatch took official visits to Kansas, Arizona and Texas Tech. He is a solid commitment to the Jayhawks.
