"It went really good," Spencer Hodges said. "I enjoyed it a lot. The coaches were real nice, and the players were real nice. It was a nice visit overall."
"My player host was kind of like two guys. One of them was Jake, his jersey number is 1 and he is a freshman [Jake Sharp]. The other one was also named Jake, he is a walk-on freshman. I can't remember their last names. I also hung out with their tackle Collins (Anthony)."
Hodges gave us a play-by-play of how the weekend progressed.
"We flew in there early Friday morning around 10," he said. "We laid down in the hotel and took a little nap. We woke up and made a trip around to see the town. Later that night went to dinner and met up with some players that night as well. Sunday, we got to eat in the press box and went around and saw the college and the football facilities and everything. They were all real nice. We ate dinner Saturday night and went out with the players again. That's about it. We are on our way home right now."
Hodges explains what impressed him the most of his visit.
"Coach Mangino is a real nice guy," he said. "My position coach, coach [John] Reagan is awesome. He is a real good guy as well. Coach Earle Moseley, my recruiting coach, has always been real nice to me also. I like him a lot too."
When asked the time-frame of his decision Hodeges replied, "This definitely helped Kansas. I may make a decision in the next couple of days on my choice."
