Logan Brock Visits Kansas

UTEP commitment Logan Brock, from Copperas Cove, Texas, visited the Kansas Jayhawks over the weekend. Did the Scout.com two-star tight end have a change of heart?

"I didn't switch commitment," Logan Brock said. "I am still going to visit TCU, Illinois and Iowa State."

"The visit went great. I loved every minute of it. It was real exciting and everything. I got to see the campus and everything. I just got real treatment, got the special treatment going. They have great facilities, great food, great coaching staff, great everything. I just loved it."

"Tyler Lawrence was my player host, and we got a long great. I actually played this week in the All-American game and his brother (Blake Lawrence) was actually playing on the team with me. So, I know his brother. Tyler was at the game. I got to meet him there and then I got to see him at campus. It was great."

Brock talked in-depth about his visit.

"Coach Blaney and I talked about what all was going on and what he feels about it. We had a real good talk. I had breakfast with the other recruits and coaches in the press box. After that we went down and looked at the field, the indoor facility, the weight room, talked with academic counselors--just did the whole works. We got to see the locker room. I walked in, and they had my locker ready for me. It got my attention real quick. It was very impressive. The facilities are great. I would have to rank them the top in the country. I have only been on one other visit, but they are really good facilities."

Will Brock stay committed to UTEP or did the Kansas visit sway him towards the Jayhawks?

"I am still going to stay with UTEP," he said. "I am going to remain loyal to UTEP at this point. I talked to coach Mangino and everything. They (Kansas) are very high on my list right now. I really enjoyed my visit, but I also really like coach Price (UTEP). Mangino is a great coach. I just need to talk it over with my parents, and I could have a new favorite."
