“Kansas State, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas are the schools I’m hearing from now. Kansas State and Iowa have come and met me face to face, but I haven’t received more than text messages and letters from Kansas.”
At 5’7” 170 lbs, speed is what separates Anderson from other running backs. Not only can he fly in the 40, 4.4, but he is also gifted on the track. As one of the fastest athletes in the state, he helped his track team to wins in the 4x100, 4x400, and the 4x200 at the state track meet Friday. With the finals on Saturday, Anderson is hoping he can help his team win those races again, as well as take home the 100 meter crown himself. With that speed, Missouri is thinking he could shine at two sports in Columbia.
“Missouri is recruiting me to play football and run track right now”
Although home state school Missouri is recruiting Anderson to play two sports, that’s not necessarily the school he’s waiting to offer first.
“I’m waiting for Kansas State to offer first. Maybe they’ll offer me at their camp this summer.”
Kansas State isn’t the only camp that Carlos plans on attending either. He plans to visit Iowa’s camp this summer as well. He also hopes to take a few visits this summer and possibly a few official visits later this year.
