Stats: oBiere had over 20 receptions for more than 300 yards and five touchdowns, 95 tackles and four interceptions as a safety. Jersey No.32

Strengths: "My strengths are my route running, getting open and catching the ball."

Needs work: "I can get stronger and faster and keep working on my technique."

Additional facts: Three-year letterman in both baseball and football, one-year letterman in basketball, 3.6 GPA, 26 ACT. Biere plans to major in Business and possibly Pre-Law.

Biere was born 9/10/89 and son of Dan and Ann Biere.

Recruiting coach: "Coach Brandon Blaney recruited me. Our relationship is real good. He's been here a bunch of times, and we talk weekly."

Expect to redshirt?: "The coaches said they don't have many tight ends coming back. You have to earn it though, and nothing is guaranteed. If I'm ready physically and mentally, I know I‘ll get a chance to play."

Why KU?: "The coaching staff was definitely part of my decision. The program is going places, and it just felt right whenever I was on campus."
