Recruiting coach: "Coach Blaney recruited me for Kansas. I had a great a relationship with him. He's been calling me since day one. Kansas was my first offer. I've also talked to Coach Mangino a lot, and we have a good relationship too. Kansas has a great staff, and that was a big part of my decision."
Expect to redshirt?: "They haven't told me anything about redshirting yet. My goal is to get in there and push for the job. I'm enrolling for spring, and I'm going to work hard for playing time."
Why KU?: "I think it's the fit for me. Their offense fits my style of play perfectly. It's a great offense, and I love the staff. Coach Mangino is making the program rise, and I think it's really about to start rolling."
