Recruiting coach: "Coach Je'Ney Jackson recruited me for Kansas. We have a good relationship. It started out as more of a friendship, and then we got to know each other well. He told me about his college days and how he thought I could be like him."

Expect to redshirt?: "I don't want to redshirt, and I'm planning on playing as a true freshman. I've been working hard since the season ended to give me a chance to play early."

Why KU?: "Kansas was the only school that really wanted me and believed I could be an awesome player. If they want me then I want them. Kansas is my new home. I'm going in with something to prove and show the other schools that they missed out on me."
