Kansas Signee Josh Richardson

Josh Richardson of Dublin-Scioto, Dublin, Ohio is officially a Jayhawk with his letter of intent signed and faxed.

Josh Richards 6-4, 200-pound Linebacker (outside)

Stats: Had 26 solo tackles and 38 assists. Five tackles for 19 yards loss, one sack for eleven yard loss, two fumble recoveries, one fumble caused, one interception.

Accolades: Team most improved 2007 after a very sparing three game appearance as a junior.

Strengths: His frame, his 4.45 quickness and his growth potential could give Kansas some options to play him hand down.

Needs Work: Needs to put on some bulk and gain experience, had a great senior season and needs to continue to learn and improve.

Additional Facts: Richardson's brother Jay played for Ohio State on their defensive line and is now a starter for the Oakland Raiders. Richardson could be a sleeper in this year's recruiting class.

Recruiting Coach: Coach Ed Warriner

Expect to redshirt? Probably needs the redshirt year to put on the added bulk to play at the level.

Why KU? Committed right after visit to KU.
