Kansas Signee Greg Brown

Greg Brown, Scout.com three-star cornerback from Cedar Hill, Texas, has signed his letter of intent and officially joins the class of 2008.

Strengths: "I feel that I'm a great cover guy. I'm a solid tackler and when it's time to make the big hit, I can make it."

Needs work: "I can get better at playing off-man technique. It's not as good as my bump coverage."

Additional facts: Two year letterman in both football and track, 3.0 GPA, 860 SAT. Brown plans to major in Sports Management.

Brown was born 1/21/90 and son of Harold and Delorse Brown.

Recruiting coach: "My recruiting coach was Coach Je'Ney Jackson, and we have a pretty good relationship. We talk a lot, and he's very down-to-earth. He's a good guy."

Expect to redshirt?: "I'm looking for a chance to play, but I'm not sure about redshirting or not. I'd like to come in and play. If I do redshirt, I can definitely work on getting bigger and stronger."

Why KU?: "Every school had its advantages and disadvantages, but Kansas had the most advantages. I was comfortable when I went there, and I felt like I can get good education there, too."
