Recruiting coach/relationship: "Coach [Steve] Tovar recruited me for Kansas. We've been talking since March of last year. At the beginning of the season, we talked every week. He came down here about four times. We have a real good relationship."
Expected to redshirt?: "I think I have a great opportunity to go in and play for a rising program in the Big 12. But if I came in and redshirted, that would be great too. I could get stronger, better and faster. Either way would make me happy."
Why Kansas?: "The reasons I picked Kansas is because they were one of the first schools to recruit me. They recruited me from day one. They are one of the best schools in the Big 12. I went up there and liked it a lot. I think it's the best place for me and my family."
