DB is a Payne for Offenses

Life is good if you are Damian Payne. With offers from countless schools across the country, and coaches calling on a daily basis, wouldn't it be a little stressful?

"It's going good right now, I keep adding formal offers.  The process doesn't bother me.  It's cool."

Payne told us that his current height and weight are 6'1" and 190 lbs.  Some schools are recruiting him to play corner, and others are recruiting him to play safety.  When asked what the important factors will be when making a decision about his future, Damian had this to share:

"The depth chart and the academics.  Those are the two biggest things."

Coaches like his speed and quickness, and it is obvious that Damian Payne is a talented player.  They are also a fan of his work ethic in the classroom, because school is something that he takes very seriously.  His older brother, Kendrick, is a defensive tackle at Cal-Berkeley. With some very impressive offers, he will have to look at all the angles of a potential school.  Are there any schools that really stand out?

"Arkansas and OU."

He won't make his decision any time soon, but with his senior season at Klein Forest   rapidly approaching, he has some goals in mind.

"I really want us to make it to at least the second round of the playoffs.  I want to get better at tackling and make bigger hits."

His junior season he recorded 50 tackles and 8 interceptions.
