Three-Star Receiver Getting Noticed

Jimmy Hall is seeing his recruitment take off, but KU joins a list of suitors for his services.

"I want to work on my route running, and on defense I want to understand coverages better.  I want to get to the ball more, as well as the QB."

Jimmy Hall might have some things to work on, but one of them is not trying to get attention on the gridiron.  The Sylvania (OH) product is enjoying a busy recruitment, and he has a goal in mind for his senior season.

"We're trying to get to the state championship.  I am really looking forward to having everyone back."

Sylvania Southview High School was the Ohio Division II state champion in 2009, and Hall was a big reason why.  Catching 47 passes for 963 yards and 10 touchdowns is pretty impressive. Hall's team has utilizes a pass-happy offense that typically uses four or five receivers on a regular basis.

Running a 4.5 forty and being 6'1 ½" makes the 192 lb. receiver a nice target for the quarterback.  How many schools are calling on Hall?

As of right now, Boston College, Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Northwestern, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia have offered scholarships.  Several MAC schools have offered as well.

The tough part of recruitment will begin shortly for Hall, which is the part where he cuts certain schools from his list.  Will KU make the cut?  At the moment, the schools are all in the same boat.  Hall can play on offense and he can play on D, but his future looks to be at wide-out.

With such a lengthy list of suitors, rest assured that Jimmy Hall will take his time when it comes to making a final decision. Top Stories
