St. Xavier has a 5-2 record this year with three more contests remaining before the playoffs. Senior defensive back Daylen Hall has participated in five of those contests and been pretty productive in his time.
"Our season is going good," said Hall. "We're having a little struggle here and there, but we will be okay," he continued.
Hall, in his five games, has 25 tackles and two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown this season. He believes he's improved one major aspect of his covering skills.
"I've improved most on my ball-reaction time," he said.
Despite the sporadic troubles, Hall believes that St. Xavier is still a state championship contender.
"Our goal is still to win a state championship," said Hall. "We just have to focus on our individual jobs and become great players," he said.
Hall committed to Kentucky back at the end of June and has visited Lexington several times, as well as set up his official visit.
"I've been up (to Kentucky) three times and I'm going up this Saturday," Hall said. "I'm taking my official against Georgia," Hall continued.
The Wildcats have had a few struggles, but Hall is still optimistic.
"They are very good this year. They just need to get some SEC wins under their belt," he finished.
