Georgia's Trey Thompkins, the SEC preseason player of the year, hopes that Enes Kanter is ruled eligible by the NCAA and gets to play at Kentucky this year.

"This summer I matched up with him a little bit at camp and he's a big player. He is wide, he can rebound, he can move. He has moves and he can really rebound the ball. He will have that aspect for them if he is allowed to play," Thompkins said.

"I talked to him. He is a good guy, but at the same time I want to compete against the best and he's one of the best. I just want to compete. We don't want the easy way out. We have been working hard and want to earn everything. That's why I want him to play. Hopefully Kanter will get to play because he is a great player and its nice to play against great players."
