Parsons: "I think they can be good. They obviously reloaded very well. It is going to be a huge factor to see if Enes Kanter is eligible to play. With him, obviously they are going to be one of the best. Without him, they can still be good with Darius Miller coming back and those other good freshmen that they have."
Question: What do you know about Kanter? Parsons: "My teammate, Vernon Macklin, went to a camp this summer with him. He told me he was obviously a beast. Really strong, really good. I have seen video of him and all the talk where everyone says he is a top five pick in the next NBA draft."
Question: What do you know about Brandon Knight, a Florida high school standout? Parsons: "Being from Florida, I have seen him play AAU all the time. He is really an explosive guard. Not as athletic as you might think, but really smart and can shoot the ball. He is a great player. He is a different kind of guy. He is academically smart and smart on the court and that is key for a point guard in this league."
Question: Will it be hard for him to follow John Wall at Kentucky? Parsons: "I think he needs to not look at it like that. He needs to go in there with his own indentity and understand what John Wall did there and learn from it and watch film and see what he did. See the things he did right and the things he did wrong and grow as a player from that."
