Kentucky coach Joker Phillips says since his Wildcats lost to Georgia to drop out of Southeastern Conference Eastern Division title contention, the team has no choice but to re-adjust its goals.

"We want to get this program in the best available bowl now that is out there for us," said Phillips Monday.

Kentucky is 4-4 going into Saturday night's game at Mississippi State. After that, the Cats host Charleston Southern and Vanderbilt before going on the road to Tennessee.

Phillips would not elaborate on what "best available bowl" meant to him.

"Just the best available. The best one if you win eight games. We don't always make those decisons," he said.

Are there any bad bowls? "No," he said.

Philllips said it should not be difficult for his team to adjust its goal.

"You just have to adjust. Every week you have to change your goals," Phillips said. "I try to lose weight sometimes. Next week I will try to lose a pound and if not, I will change it to half a pound."
