Daron Blaylock, along with his brother Zack, visited Kentucky this weekend for football camp. Daron came away feeling good about what he experienced on the Wildcat campus.
"They're my number one right now," said Blaylock. "The coaches made me feel at home. I'm comfortable there. I feel like I could be at Kentucky. On defense they say I can play outside linebacker. That's one of my favorite positions and I could have a good time up there," he continued.
Daron could be a favorite at the position for the UK faithful as well if you look at his skills and numbers.
"My speed and my size are my strengths. I'm weighing about 215-pounds. I ran a 4.48 in the forty. I can read and react fast to what the offense does," he said. "I just train 24-7. I'm doing speed training. The next day I'm doing weight lifting. Then we do some 7-on-7s. And then the one day camps," he said.
Blaylock's experience this weekend at the one day camp was a positive one as well.
"It was great, actually. It was a nice day. I did good on all my testing stuff. I did pretty well on the one-on-ones," he said.
"I'm going to Ole Miss next weekend and then I'm going to make my decision."
