When Daron and Zack Blaylock committed to Kentucky this week, they made Kentucky "better" according to the coaching staff. The duo will now have the rest of the summer and next season to enjoy being high school students before heading to the SEC.

Zack Blaylock is one of Georgia's top rated defensive backs and Daron Blaylock is one of the most athletic outside linebackers in the Peach State. And the two of them combined will help the Wildcats.

"(The coaches) were like ‘Kentucky just got better,'" said Zack. "They were really happy. They were really excited. They can't wait until we get there to play for them," continued Daron.

The Blaylocks were looking at several schools and they had recently returned from camp at Ole Miss. They had plans to visit Duke in the coming weeks, but they decided that now was the right time to make their decision.

"We've been to a lot of schools. We've been to most of the SEC and ACC schools," said Daron. "Kentucky stood out. I'm a Kentucky kind of guy. The coaches treated me good," he said.

Zack echoed his brother's sentiments.

"We've been going on these trips for a while, now. We've been to a lot of schools. Kentucky was our favorite school that we've been to," he said.

Now they will focus on their senior season at Walton and enjoying their remaining time in high school.

"I'm so glad (that recruiting is over)," said Zack. "That's it," he said.

"It's a relief. It's good to put it all behind me and enjoy my senior year," said Daron. "Now I don't have to worry about all the recruiting," he finished.
