McGary receives offers from Duke, UNC and UK

"I don't have a favorite," McGary said. "I'm wide open to everyone. I'll put out a list in the next month or two."

Rising senior Mitch McGary has caught the attention of a lot of college coaches this summer, including Kentucky coach John Calipari.

As the July Evaluation Period kicked off, McGary has been impressing coaches right and left . The rise of McGary began at Amar'e Camp last month as he filled up the basket from all over the court, including three pointers.

McGary's size makes him particularly attractive but his skills have really blossomed. He has played aggressively thus far in summer play. He runs the floor well, finishes on the break and plays solid defense. McGary averaged 12.3 points per game at camp.

The 6-11 senior power forward from Brewster Academy (N.H.) received offers from several more schools, including North Carolina, Kentucky and Duke.

McGary is finishing up the LeBron James Skills Academy and is still open to all options in his recruitment.

"I don't have a favorite," McGary said. "I'm wide open to everyone. I'll put out a list in the next month or two."
