Ron Ball: Day Three from Orlando

Yesterday was pretty much an off day as we are between pool play with the showcase and the nationals however there was still some action going on. The day started off with another glimpse of the Harrison twins and Kobe Eubanks. Not really anything new however I noted that Rivals has Andrew Harrison as their top recruit in the 2013 class. I'm not seeing that.

I love both his and his brothers game but I'd not put them as the number one player in the class. Was able to see some Jerami Grant. For those unfamiliar, he is the son of former NBA player Harvey Grant. He is a 6-6 SF who possess a nice game. He isn't the interior player that his father was but no doubt he has some major skills.

I was also able to watch Kerem Kanter, younger brother of Enis. I tried to find a "Free Kerem" t-shirt but none were to be found. The younger Kanter has some developing to do. Todays game had him pulling down 10 boards despite not utilizing good blocking out technique.

Offensively he is still raw. He managed 7 points by going 3 for 8 from the field and 1 for 5 from the line. On the not so good side he had 4 turnovers. Still, there is lots to build on and plenty of time to do it.
