I've gotta give big time kudos to Coach John Calipari for naming former Kentucky coach Joe B. Hall to his Dominican National team staff today.
Hall had previously been slated to coach a team of former Kentucky stars in an August 15th exhibition against the Dominican team. On Thursday it was learned that the NCAA stepped in and said that Hall and former Kentucky All American Sam Bowie could not coach the team of former Cats.
I have yet to learn of any specific rule that Kentucky would have violated for Hall and Bowie, who are not employed by the University of Kentucky, to coach a group of former players, who are not recruitable athletes.
The Mark Emmert led NCAA continues to show incompetence, favoritism, and clear agendas in their decisions.
Kudos to Cal
