Joker Phillips is closing out his second recruiting class as Head Coach at Kentucky. And his second season hasn't even begun yet.

Seneca tackle and former Louisville commit Tyrone Pearson confirmed today on Twitter today that he has indeed committed to the University of Kentucky.

The 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive lineman can play on the inside at tackle and also on the outside as a defensive end. Pearson holds offers from several schools and is considered the top defensive player in the state of Kentucky's 2012 class.

Kentucky also picked up a commitment from Jeffersontown tight end/defensive end Daniel Ross.

Kentucky Sports Report spoke with a source close to Ross this morning who confirmed the commitment, but we haven't been able to reach him for comment.

Ross, 6-foot-5, 240-pounds, is a great athlete who can play on either side of the ball, but ultimately looks like a defensive end.

Ross was getting attention from Cincinnati, Central Florida, Louisville, Vanderbilt and Ball State.

Kentucky Sports Report will bring you more on these two prospects as the information is made available.
