Tyrone Pearson has been the subject of a lot of talk among Kentucky fans this week. After making an announcement last week that he would pick between Kentucky and Louisville, Pearson made the call.

Last season, Tyrone Pearson was credited with 58 tackles and nine sacks, helping Seneca to the KHSAA playoffs. Before the end of his junior year, however, he transferred to Warren Central High in Indianapolis (In.). He later announced that he would be headed back to Seneca finish off his high school career.

Holding more than a dozen offers, Pearson committed to Louisville at one point and was also committed to UCF before settling on Kentucky.

The 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive lineman knows that there are skeptics out there.

"I know due to my past my word and character have been put to judgement, but I have learned and understand now," said Pearson.

Pearson says that he's going to sign with Kentucky in February and this marks the end of recruiting for him.

"I am committed and my recruitment is officially done. This is my home," he said. "There is no doubt when it comes to signing day and picking my hat, it will have a Wildcat on it," he finished.
