Perry Ellis has his final four

When Perry Ellis's list was revealed it included three in state schools and the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky has spent a great deal of time recruiting the Wichita Heights power forward and appears to have made him a priority recruit.

Kentucky recruit Perry Ellis has narrowed his list of suitors to four, and is setting in-home visit dates.

Ellis has narrowed his list to Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky and Wichita State. Kentucky is the lone school from outside the state of Kansas to crack the forward's final four.

Wichita Heights coach Joe Auer told Kentucky Sports report's Larry Vaught that Kansas and Kansas State are on tap for in-home visits on September 9th. The dates for in-home visits for Kentucky and Wichita State have not been made public.

Kentucky coach John Calipari and his staff spent a lot of time in attendance at events in which Ellis was participating during the two July evaluation periods.

Scout has Ellis rated as a five star prospect and ranks him as the fifth best power forward in the class.

Ellis's Scout bio states, "At 6-foot-8, he has a great set of hands, an ability to face up and hit jump shots and he can flat out score. We'd like to see him get stronger and improve his handle, but he's loaded with talent and is a legit high major prospect."

Kentucky Sports Report will provide more information as it becomes available.
