Three-star linebacker Kadeem Thomas has verbally committed to play football at the University of Kentucky, according to numerous internet reports.
The Floridian gave Kentucky the nod despite the Wildcats receiving an old fashioned butt kicking from the Florida Gators.
Thomas has received significant interest from a number of SEC teams.
Last December Thomas was named the Tallahassee Quarterback Club's Defensive Player of the Year after an outstanding season as a junior.
"At linebacker I had 160 tackles, six interceptions, 10 forced fumbles and I led the state of Florida in tackles," Thomas previously told Scout.com.
