Madness key to landing bigs in blue Part 2

Part two of a series focusing on 2012 front court players visiting for Big Blue Madness. Up to bat, forward Alex Poythress.

Big Blue Madness could be a huge factor in getting John Calipari's front court targets into Kentucky uniforms.

Indications have been given over the past several weeks that Kentucky fans attending Big Blue Madness may see a number of front court targets in attendance.

This is the second in a series of articles on front court players who have been reportedly plan to attend Big Blue Madness.

Alex Poythress is the featured player for this installment.

Poythress is a forward, and likely is going to be slated to play small forward at the college level no matter where he chooses to attend school.

Poythress is Scout's #3 ranked small forward, and the service has him ranked 12th overall.

Earlier this week Poythress told's Evan Daniels, "I narrowed my list down to four. Just Kentucky, Florida Vanderbilt and Memphis."

Just a few days ago Poythress lit up Kentucky messageboards when Keith Easterwood, who has been a long time AAU insider in the Memphis area stated on the Gary Parrish Show that Poythress to Kentucky is a done deal.

When KSR's Ron Ball evaluated the 6-8 200 pound forward in Orlando he wrote of Poythress, "His quickness is top notch and he gets to the rim with ease."
