Madness visitor no more

One of a number of UK Big Blue Madness scheduled attendees will not be in Lexington for the UK event.

Earlier today Evan Daniels broke the news that T.J. Warren would not be in attendance at Big Blue Madness in just over ten days.

Later Daniels broke the news via Twitter that Warren had text him his final four. Kentucky was not on the list.

There has been no word if Warren dropped Kentucky or if John Calipari dropped Warren.

From the outside looking in it appeared Warren was caught in a numbers game. The wing would either have to play wing forward or wing guard at Kentucky.

Last week word spread that small forward Alex Poythress is likely UK bound. This could take a spot from Warren.

The Kentucky staff has turned up the heat on Gary Harris, and has made a huge push for Scout's #12 player, and one of the class's top wing guards.

In addition Kentucky has been deeply involved with Shabazz Muhammad for quite a while.

My best guess is that among the wing candidates Warren was running no better than the fourth choice to fill what appears to be two spots for Kentucky.
