Cats whip Greyhounds 87-63

The Kentucky Wildcats (10-1) defeated the Loyola (Md) Greyhounds (8-3) 87-63 behind a career-high 24 points off the bench from freshman Kyle Wiltjer.

Anthony Davis added his fifth double-double of the season, with 15 points, 11 rebounds in the game. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist matched the 15 points, while Darius Miller notched his third consecutive double figure scoring game with 13.

Kentucky played its second consecutive game without preseason All-American Terrence Jones. Jones has missed most of the last three games with a dislocated finger on his shooting hand.

After the Christmas break, Kentucky continues the five-game homestand Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 8:30 p.m. vs. Lamar. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
