Teague discusses taking the show on the road

Kentucky point guard Marquis Teague may just be a freshman, but he has been schooled on what to expect when the Wildcats take to the road in SEC play this week. The Wildcats suffered their lone setback of the season at Indiana in December, and learned in that one point loss that road games can be much different than home games.

Kentucky point guard Marquis Teague may just be a freshman, but he has been schooled on what to expect when the Wildcats take to the road in SEC play this week. The Wildcats suffered their lone setback of the season at Indiana in December, and learned in that one point loss that road games can be much different than home games.

Teague said of road games, "Everything is really physical. On the road, the crowd is real tough to play in, and the crowd gets into it."

How do he and his teammates want to approach playing on the road?

"You want to go out, play hard, and get wins just like you would a home game. We just have to execute and do what we do."

Has the team discussed the string of close losses the Wildcats suffered in SEC road games last season?

"No. We really haven't talked about it that much this year."

Last year's close losses on the road are indicative of what could happen on the road in the SEC; they are not indicative of what will happen on the road in the SEC.
