Paducah Tilghman receiver J.D. Harmon committed to Kentucky this weekend. Harmon had received a scholarship offer late in the summer. However the scholarship situation is somewhat unclear.

"Yeah, I committed (to Kentucky)," said Harmon via text message. "I'll be playing this fall."

Conflicting reports are coming out that Harmon's offer is a grayshirt offer and that he'll be paying his own way during the first semester at Kentucky, but Harmon has yet to confirm that information to the Kentucky Sports Report.

Harmon, 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, is one of the best athletes in Kentucky. He helped lead Paducah Tilghman to a 10-3 record this year. On the season he had 52 catches for 846 yards and 11 touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball he had eight interceptions, two fumble recoveries and 39 tackles from his safety position.

KSR will have more on this commitment as it's available.
