This is part two of a two part series. In this installment Terrence Jones discusses his teammates, and how their play impacts the game.

Question: Does it help you that Anthony Davis is drawing more defensive attention and giving you more space on offense?

Jones: "When you go to the lane right now, they have still been trying to take charges on me a lot with his man. But it has been easy playing with everybody that can play around you."

Question: Why have you gone from 13 double-doubles last year to none this year?

Jones: "It means it is hard to rebound with all these people on my team. There are three dudes (Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Jones) trying to get 10 each game. I don't even keep track during the game. I?didn't know I?had nine (at LSU). I would have asked Coach for another 30 seconds or something."

Question: Is the team playing its best basketball right now?

Jones: "I think right now we are playing real well. Just getting a lot of chemistry with so many games and Marquis (Teague) just running the team on the floor like he has been and letting it be our pace. Executing when we need to. It just comes down to him. That is why we have been so successful."

Question: What does it say about Kidd-Gilchrist that he can score just one point but have eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and play great defense like he did at LSU to impact the game?

Jones: "That is what you need on your team to win is guys that can still have an impact even when they don't have scoring games. His game could be like that all the time with guys being hot. But as long as making progress for us to win, it's still good."

Question: How does he rebound and do things he does at his size?

Jones: "He's real long. He is active at his position. I?don't think guys at his position are usually as active as him. It is just something he always has an advantage over."

Question: What does senior Darius Miller add to this team?

Jones: "Right now he is just that guy who has been closing out the games for us. Teams have been thinking they could come back or make a run, he has been the guy to step up and make 3's for us the last two games. He is just showing he is not scared to take any shot this year. It's good that he is still here and helping lead us to so many wins. Hopefully we just get the job done."

Question: What went through your mind Saturday when LSU's Malcolm White pulled Davis down from behind on a fast break?

Jones: "It was real hard (not to react) just because that is my brother. For something like that to happen that didn't feel like it was a basketball play at all was real hard to watch. But we had to keep playing and try to keep executing. We don't expect for anything like that to happen to us or against the other team. We just try to play basketball."

Question: How would you react if you get knocked down and hit as many times as Davis did Saturday?

Jones: "Up that much, there is not much you need to react for because we are trying to play basketball and win games. We don't need anything to happen for a player to miss anything (games) over something silly in a blowout game. It was the right thing to do to just not retaliate."

Question: What is different on the road for this team compared to last year when UK was 2-6 in SEC road games?

Jones: "I just think it is confidence and just execution. I think we are playing a lot better and with more confidence. We are not playing to lose but playing more to win."
