LEXINGTON, Ky. --- Kentucky coach Guy Morriss announced Friday that two players are facing team disciplinary action, and one has opted to transfer.
Sophomore cornerback Brandon Doggett and junior running back Martez Johnson were cited for violating unspecified team rules. Doggett, a Valdosta, Ga., native who had yet to play a down for the Wildcats after sitting out his freshman year due to academics, has decided to transfer. Morriss said Johnson's disciplinary measures would be handled as an internal matter.
Johnson, a native of Detroit, carried the ball 15 times for 61 yards (4.1 per carry)
last year and was a key part of the Cats' kickoff return unit. He was coming off an
impressive spring and was expected to play a bigger role in UK's revamped running game
